Contemporary Stage Forms workshop

I have the pleasure of leading a workshop as part of the project 'Perform the Anger' by the Theatre of Responsibility.

This practical workshop is for all interested in the mechanics of contemporary stage forms and storytelling in theatre. How do we build a sequence of actions which transmit meaning to an audience? How does the presence of an audience alter the nature of the performance? How does the space in which a performance takes place impact the event and its meaning? Through exercises based on 40 years of making theatre, this workshop will be of interest to actors, directors, scenographers, dancers – in fact anyone who wants to equip themselves with practical techniques and methodology they can apply to their own rehearsal work.
