Teaching the artist to be a citizen A talk by Chris Baldwin as part of the 40th anniversary of Huesca School of Art
On Thursday, March 5th, as part of the Art Teacher's Meeting organized by Escuela de Arte de Huesca Erasmus in partnership with Espacio InfoCultura and Tecmolde, Chris shared thoughts and examples on the role of the artist as citizen. The discussion focused on the democratic power of art and when, how and with whose support it can be mediated as propaganda.
Guests of the event, dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Huesca School of Arts, were artists, producers, art teachers and professors from the Netherlands, the USA, Finland, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, and Italy.
