CultArt Management Academy - meeting the young cultural managers of Europe

Cultart is a new practical programme in cultural management initiated by a consortium of international partners led by Plovdiv 2019 ECoC to fulfil the gaps in academic educational courses. The Cultart Academy aims to train international groups of 100+ young specialists from Austria, Greece, Italy, Bulgaria, and North Macedonia.

The Academy started in the Autumn of 2022 and covers the full range of creative industries in 5 programmes (Festivals, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Design and Architecture, Applied Arts). Each programme takes place in one of the 5 partner cities.

On the 12th of July as part of the Festivals module, Chris Baldwin is a keynote speaker presenting his  #CitizenCentered Dramaturgy approach - big-scale curated public events. In the same morning panel, State Opera Plovdiv & the Opera Open Festival is presented by Luciano di Martino, Artistic Director Opera Plovdiv and Nikola Shopov, Marketing and PR of Opera Open Festival).
